What's new in Must Read 3.5.1
A follow-up to the Apple Watch release. The watch now speaks the same 34 languages the rest of the app does, the first run is gentler, and Must Read no longer asks where in the world you are.
Your Watch Speaks Your Language
When Must Read arrived on Apple Watch it arrived in English. Now every screen, complication and prompt on the wrist is translated into all 34 languages the watch app supports โ including the hint that tells you to turn the Digital Crown, which was quietly running off the edge of the screen in eleven of them.
A Gentler First Run
Setting up Must Read for the first time got quieter and clearer: fewer walls between you and your first book, tidier backgrounds throughout the opening screens, and a session summary that knows when to ask you for something and when to leave you alone.
We Stopped Asking Where You Are
Libraries Near You has been removed, and with it every trace of location from the app. This is the first version of Must Read that neither requests your location nor declares any use of it. Your reading was never the kind of thing that needed a map.
And everything else
Tidier Throughout
Colour and background passes across onboarding, the sign-in sheet, the timer flow and imports.
Invisible Cards Fixed
Three cards that could render as blank space now draw properly wherever they appear.
