Books in your language come first

Open a genre in Explore and the books in your country's language now come first, with Other languages below. Want another language first? Pick it from the menu at the top of any genre, and every genre follows your choice.

Search does the same. Whether you type, ask Siri or point the camera at a cover, the edition in your language comes first. Search for Fourth Wing in Germany and the German editions lead.

A clearer book page

My progress now fits on one line: the page you're on, a short bar and your percentage.

A finished book gets My reading, which keeps your rating and review, the days you started and finished, and your format together in one place.

Audiobooks in hours and minutes

An audiobook can now be tracked by Time, next to Pages and Percentage. Set where you are and how long the book is, 12h 49m of 20h 32m, and the app does the rest.

You then see the exact time left everywhere: on the book's page, in your Library and lists, in Statistics, in your widgets, on the Lock Screen and on Apple Watch. 62% · 7h 43m left.

Your lists, on every device

Lists, reviews and bookmarks now stay in sync across your iPhone and iPad. Remove a book from a list, reorder it, rename a list or edit a review on one device, and the others follow. Lists also get pull to refresh.

And a list's + now searches the whole catalogue, not just your Library, so you can add a book to a list in one step.

Import your library from anywhere

Import library in Settings is now one screen, with how-to guides for each app we support. If your file comes from somewhere else and we can't read it, send it to us from the same screen and we'll add your books by hand.

Books from an import also keep the page counts from your file.

Rufus at the end of a session

Rufus now meets you on the session summary, with a face to match the moment: your first session, coming back after a week away, a hundred pages in one sitting, a late night or an early start.
