Only seven years after returning home from WWII a war hero, John Acropolis was not only the president of what would one day be the richest, most powerful teamster union local in the country. He was poised to be married and start a family of his own, a dream he had since his childhood growing up in an orphanage. Sadly his days were numbered, in fact so were his hours. For years John the brash tough as nails Westchester labor leader had been battling the Italian mafia pushing its way north from the city all while fighting resentful elements in his own midst jealous deadly elements. So the set was staged for a final confrontation between good and evil, between Caesar and Judius. What hung in the balance was not only the fate of his 2,500 man teamster local but also the future of the country as the mob began spreading its tentacles and growing like unchecked cancer. Only one would prevail, and fate had long decided the outcome.
