About the Book: This action/mystery book is filled with police corruption, drug dealing, murder, and drama, all set on the city streets of New Orleans. Inspired by real events, both seen and known, the story follows Detective Kasey as she rises through the ranks of her division and Munyez, a drug dealer rising in his own profession. When their paths cross, they must each decide what is most important in their lives.

About the Author: Born in the mid-1970s in Gretna, LA, I grew up in a two-parent household during my early years. When I was about 10, my parents divorced, leaving my mother to raise two kids on her own. The invasion of drugs into my community changed everything I thought I knew in an instant. As a teenager, I found myself in and out of trouble, starting with juvenile detention and later graduating to adult jails. To escape the harsh reality of poverty, I began dealing drugs and committing bigger felonies. I've experienced and witnessed many things and lost a lot of people along the way, including many family members and close personal friends to the gritty streets of New Orleans. These experiences and life lessons have inspired me to create this fictional/non-fictional journal. The events in this action thriller will be mind-blowing and keep you on the edge of your seat.
