Beauty and the Cake: Coleen's Cupcakery; Gourmet Cakes, Cupcakes & Desserts

When I was a little girl, I spent significant amount of time with my Great Aunt Bessie who lived directly across the street from my childhood home. She baked every week for the church and always invited me over to help. We would pour over recipe books together, creating our own delicious desserts for the weekly bake sale. Coleen's Cupcakery was created out of the memory and love of baking that I shared with my Great AuntWe bake with love and passion as a form of worship. I have re-created some of my Great Aunts recipes and incorporated the old traditions that she taught me that she learned growing up in Southern Louisiana. You can taste home and your grandmothers kitchen in our baking.
