Dave Richardson never dreams of the unexpected challenges of running a shop, like managing fickle factory relations, navigating the ever-changing requirements of maintaining a franchise, reviving US market interest in European brands, reworking & customizing failed parts, battling 15 years for needed engineering improvements, handling revolving business partners, and surviving depression & repeated changes in manufacturer ownership.

But there were good times, like evaluating prototypes at the Moto Guzzi factory and 4 other free trips to Italy, once being Aprilia’s largest-selling US dealer & Guzzi’s for 13 consecutive years, connecting with new bike buyers in 6 countries & 45 states… and getting married in Mandello del Lario, Guzzi’s hometown.
