The Wall Between The Woods

One lazy summer afternoon, Leland, Benji, Maple, and Rose discover the wall in the wood behind their home. After insults are swapped by Benji and his siblings, everything goes quiet. When the other three look, Benji is gone, and in his place is a hole in the wall. After entering the hole in the wall, they are whisked away into an unlikely journey. They meet adversity in the form of the Colonel and his circus, the Troll with a riddle under a bridge, and the piratey River Rats, who are the possible culprits to Benji's disappearance. Along their journey, though, the children receive help from a variety of colorful characters, including their rabbit guardian, Fable, Knut the Squirrel, Friar Frog, and the twin gnomes: Kilmuir and Tweedsmuir. Before they can go to River Rat Dam to investigate, the children are taken to stand before The Three: Father Time, Zerachiel the Angel, and the Bear King, who govern over the magic and creatures of the world. After standing before them, Father Time tasks the children with, not only saving Benji, but rescuing all the children from the River Rats. Leland, Maple, and Rose are each given an egg containing a gift to help them in this daring rescue; however, displaying growth and maturity might be the most powerful weapon to help them find success.
