To Kill A Jailbird is a art of poetry by Te'Ron Jackson. A incarcerated black man who details his everyday life and thoughts of the struggles he fight within his self dealing with being caged in a cell. He is expressing many emotions of pain, confusion, anger, depression, determination, and love that is lost and found. He shows transformation from a 17 year old boy who made mistakes and choices in life that lead to his incarceration as a man who has elevated his train of thought with a strive to uplift not only himself but the people who fights the same fight as he does
