Notes from Underground

This is a US/Canada only edition. This 1864 masterpiece is widely considered as the world's first novel based on existentialism. This book is known by a number of names, such like, Notes From the Underworld, Notes From Underworld, Letters from Underworld and the like. This is an exemplary work in the way that it focuses on the cores of ego-defense-mechanism or clever equilibrium-sustenance prattle which is summarily discarded by the author through a series of chapters in two parts of this book.
