Eric Hamilton: American ace pilot who had his arm shot off in the war and is desperate because he can't get a job flying.

Dr. Faust: Genetic genius who has regrown arms on monkeys by harnessing the 'regrow gene' of lobsters.

Renata: Innocent bystander who gets caught in a whirlpool of chaos, danger and absurdity.
