Stories from the Psych Ward

This collection of 16 short stories was inspired by people met by the author during his stay in a mental health unit. The procedures are real; the treatments are real; the heartbreak is real; and, though fictional, the characters are real. Some tell their own stories; others we see through the eyes of another patient, but all of them have something to say about mental illness and the way it touches them and those they love. The characters are tragic, heroic, disturbing, and inspiring.
