Me, micro cosmosThe German scientific journals Werner Zipper and Christian Weber visit the worlds leading psychologists, psychologists, sociologists, folkists, philosophers, and neuroscientists in particular to explore the little universe of "I." By exploring the universe within the skull, the authors have interviewed those who have brought about a knowledge revolution about "I" over the years, gathering a variety of clinical cases into a faithful report. The book answers a very old question like "Who am I" and "Why am I not this different, but now?" . The author argues that it is because of memory that humans can build an ego called me, and explains that most of our memories are close to the ones created, which are like the theatrical acts on the stage of me. The evidence points out that people with brain damage or psychological abnormalities recognize “you” and “you” in ways that the average person doesnt think, and that they cant even perceive the loss of parts of their body, such as arms and legs. Through this memory, the illusion of the brain, and the study of neuroscience, the book concludes that I is only a manipulated me and there is no I that we think.
