Annella Lindly had had enough of the city and the restaurant that refused to make her head chef because of her age or sex or whatever other excuse they threw at her. So, when The Black Tie restaurant advertised for a head chef on social media Annella jumped at the opportunity.

She left the city with her hopes, her dreams, and her tiny car and sped to the small town of Green Lake. No one has warned her about Speed Trap Thorne until after she encounters the offensive yet sexy police Lieutenant.
