This book and its namesake musical album is a celebration of life earned, tracing a journey of bereavement from the depths of despair, melancholia, an acknowledgment of individual insignificance, a reach for the universal through pain, the invisibility of vulnerability and the most vulnerable upon whom we trample yet depend upon, by establishing a connection to and paying a tribute to historical poems that have moved us over the years, with after poems on Willian Ernest Henley's Invictus or Naomi Shihab Nye's Kindness, with fragment of this or that here and there, to affirm existence through the experience of the tragic, speaking to current tragedies and reaching beyond with well wishes anchored on agapean foundations.

It is humbly shared as a gift, with the hope that the reader will read the poems, listen to the corresponding songs which can be found on all major streaming platforms, come back and read again, pause and confront thoughts and emotions to emerge better armed to face and embrace whatever comes their way.
