Behind Closed Doors

This is my story. I've gone through some very traumatic moments in my life and for a very long time I felt as though I was alone in that. It took me a long time to realize others go through it too but a lot of us are scared to tell our stories. I want others who are going through it to know that they are not alone. I want them to also know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. They can make it out and be amazing on the other side. I also want to provide light on a subject that doesn't get talked about much. People who criticize others for going through abuse and sticking around only do it because they don't understand what we go through and why we don't leave immediately.
