The Chain

After nearly two decades away, Lexi Maxwell returns to her small hometown to escape the big city and recuperate after a lengthy, highly publicized trial in which she was the key witness. But Finger Rocks, Iowa has anything but peace in store for her. Hiding in the background of the town lurks an ancient evil quietly manipulating the inhabitants through The Triad, the town's most powerful men. Lexi immediately finds herself playing a key role in a prophecy known as The Chain, a series of events that will destroy The Triad. She teams up with her old flame, Ivan, who has a vested interest in seeing The Triad gone. While they are assured by the town prophet that The Chain cannot be broken, no guarantee is made that they will survive it. The Triad will do anything to stop The Chain, including getting rid of Lexi permanently. While the humans play their roles, the dark and light spiritual forces are at work behind the scenes and only one side will be the victor.
